This one-day course gives a solid understanding to the foundations of music theory – allowing student to gain the appropriate knowledge before moving onto more advanced courses such as ABRSM and AP Theory.
Like all GRMT courses, we believe that learning should be an enjoyable experience. This is why the whole day is filled with engaging and interactive activity style learning exercises. Students will use our digital GRMT course workbook, ensuring a modern and efficient educational experience. This allows our students to get used to the ‘online’ format, that ABRSM introduced in 2020, right from the start from the course.
Our exceptional course leaders are passionate and dedicated to helping the students succeed. Students will leave with methods, tips, and tricks not used anywhere else!
We do provide refreshments during breaks to keep students energised and focused. However, please note that students are expected to bring their own packed lunch and a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day. Students are able to store their lunches safely in our fridge upon arrival. Please note that there is no microwave on site. Students will be provided with a ‘what to bring’ list after having completed registration.
